Inspired by a class taken from Nancy Crow this brightly colored piece called for a new technique for the artist. The instructions: cut without a ruler. The artist found it difficult to drop the ruler altogether and produced this wonderful maze of colors. Composed of block and rectangle units, the piece is machine quilted with a variegated thread diagonally through each block unit. The piece is finished with a ¼” binding. The backing is a floral/paisley and has a hanging sleeve.
