First a quilt was made and then layers upon layers of fabric strips were machine sewn in a raw appliqué method to create a wonderful collage. The artists incorporated selvages with text, printed florals and numbers, and abstracts to build a house. The brightly colored central house is composed of pieced blocks, including stars and houses. This piece has a hanging sleeve.
