Adrianna’s Purse OR Emmaline’s Purse: Embroidery, Meg Hawkey

Meg designed two new patterns just for Quilt Fest 2010. Be one of the first to make one of these great new purses–choose either Adrianne’s Purse (at right) or Emmaline’s Purse (below.) Meg’s embroidery classes are always very low-key and unstructured with lots of personal one-on-one instruction so you can learn what you need without feeling left behind or slowed down! Meg will teach seven embroidery stitches as well as some bead embellishments. You are encouraged to make your own color choices to coordinate with your fabric but suggestons will be given to complete the project as shown. Floss will be available to purchase in several different colorways. Be sure to check out Meg’s new –  “Be Merry” –Workshop on Saturday.
