Lovebirds in Wreath, Elly Sienkiewicz (2 Day Workshop)

Thursday, September 30 & Friday, October 1 ;  9:30am-4pm

Although this exquisite square looks complex, Elly’s relaxed approach makes the stitching easy and assures success. Learn what makes appliqué elegant–smooth flat shapes with fine definitions. Use window templates to make color choices and self-stick templates to ease pattern transfer. Learn “off-block” reverse appliqué buds and “unit appliqué” layered flowers. Inked and embroidered embellishments give a masterpiece finish. Instructions for advance preparation will be provided on registration. The example block at left was appliquéd by Bobbie Wendell with embellishment by Elly Sienkiewicz.
