2013 Quilt & Fiber Arts Festival
The annual Quilt & Fiber Arts Festival is our largest annual fundraiser and provides vital support for Museum operations!
The 2013 Quilt & Fiber Art Festival, October 4 – 6, will feature an exhibition of Juried & Judged quilts, fiber art, and wearable art in Maple Hall and the La Conner Civic Garden Club, both locations within a half-block of the Museum. Maple Hall will host the Quilt Show, specialty vendors, and silent auction. The Garden Club will host more vendors and the Fiber Arts & Wearables Show while the Museum features three floors of exhibits..

2013 Workshops Registration is Open
We have an exciting roster of workshops lined up for you! Whether you enjoy beading, hand applique, piecing, or simply trying something new, we have unique workshops. Returning instructors, Robin and Thom Atkins will be teaching Beading Classes. For hand applique, try a workshop with Kathy Dunigan, an instructor with the Elly Sienkiewicz Academy. If original piecing is something you would like to try, Jean Wells Keenan will have one and two-day workshops. For something a bit different, how about no sewing at all? Sounds relaxing? Take a color or design workshop from Joen Wolfrom. With an array of one- or two-day workshops to choose from, we are sure you will find that unique workshop!
October 3, 6-9pm. What better way to start the Festival than with a Kick-Off Party! Join us for some lighthearted fun at the Swinomish Yacht Club. The Award Winners will be announced, door prizes, small silent and live auctions and some other fun we have up our sleeves. Treat your spouse, partner, or sewing friends to a delightful evening.
