Quilt Walk 2011
We would like to thank the members of the Tri-City Quilter’s Guild for participating in our recently ended Quilt Walk.
This Year’s Quilt Walk included an impressive 52 participating La Conner businesses, which had 80 quilts on display. One of the quilts that was on display, Flame Birds of the Big Cypress by Barbara Minton (at left), was a big hit at the La Conner Quilt & Textile Museum.
The group was founded in 1982 and has over 400 members. To learn more about this group, please visit: http://www.tcquilters.com/ TCQG’s events include monthly meetings, workshops, and community service projects including raffle quilts with funds raised going to support local charities such as Habitat for Humanity, Safe Harbor Crisis nursery, LaClinica, local nursing homes and the Tri-City Cancer Center.
One of the groups’ fundraising events is an annual
