I Hope You Like Orange

This quilt, with it’s bright orange colors, was accepted into the 2002 APNQ’s Pacific Northwest Quiltfest show. This was the first quilt Joe entered into a juried show and it won a Judge’s Choice award from Bonnie Browning.
The quilt was inspired by a class called Crazy Mixed Up Logs that Joe took many years ago at In the Beginning, Seattle, (at one time a quilt shop and is now a wholesale fabric designer.) The Log Cabin variation is machine pieced with the blocks set in a fun, contemporary style. The borders include a “postage stamp” border, so named because of the postage-sized pieces. Machine quilted by David Rincon.
