Appliqué floral bunches of daffodils and posies form block motifs. Blocks measure 14.75″ x 12.75″ and are set without sashing.
This quilt was made from a Marie Daughtery Webster quilt design. Her designs were first published in the Ladie’s Home Journal in 1911. This particular pattern has been reprinted in Marie Webster’s Garden of Quilts by Rosalind Webster Perry & Marti Frolli.
Cotton solids. Machine pieced borders, hand appliqued flowers, hand quilted around floral bouquet and in grid over background with floral designs over block intersections.
