This bright, scrappy quilt features hand pieced blocks, which are set by machine. Josie pieced all her blocks by hand but did not have a sewing machine at home. She had a job as a seamstress and would take the finished blocks to her work where she did have access to a sewing machine.
Hand-quilted, outline in the blocks and grid over block intersections.
