Save Our Mansion

THE NEED IS URGENT, THE TIME IS NOW, AND THERE IS NO CONTRIBUTION TOO SMALL.
WE NEED YOUR HELP IN RAISING $325,243 TO SAVE OUR REGISTERED HISTORIC SITE, HOME OF WASHINGTON STATE’S ONLY QUILT MUSEUM! PLEASE JOIN THE HUNDREDS OF DONORS WHO HAVE BROUGHT US $91,000 CLOSER TO SAVING THIS MANSION.
This photo shows what our home, the 1891 Historic Gaches Mansion, could look like with repairs, improvements, and fresh paint. The Board of Directors has kicked off a Capital Campaign to raise half of the estimated $325,243 cost of restoration, and is seeking grants to cover the remaining half of costs. This project is Phase II of a restoration that started in 2007 with a 3:1 Heritage Capital Funds Project matching grant awarded by the Washington State Historical Preservation Society.
UPDATE: As of July 7, 2010, we have raised over $91,000 from supporters just like you. With another $54,000 to go, our goal is to have the majority of these funds in-hand by October of 2010 so we can resume restoration work in January of 2011.
