Restoring the Gaches Mansion
APRIL 27, 2012
UPDATE: WE ARE LESS THAN $3,600 away from our second $20,000 match with the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust!
Two sides are completed and donors like you have helped us raise over $215,000 towards restoration of the Gaches Mansion. Major grantors include the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust ($80,000, 2:1 match) and the Washington State Heritage Capital Projects Fund grant ($25,000, 3:1 match) administered by the Washington State Historical Society. The total cost of this project is estimated at $350,000.
Our goal is to raise the remaining $90,000 towards cost of finishing the final two sides of the building by end of summer 2012. This will also enable us to receive an additional $40,000 in matching funds from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust. Your donations are making a difference; thank you.

Staff members admire the new exterior signage for the project, which will feature grantors and major contributors.
