“The squares in the center of the quilt represent parts of the Quilt Museum being put back together and squared up after being in disarray.”

This piece is composed of many different solid colored fabrics. The background is composed of undulating strata machine quilted following the curves of the strips. Squares and rectangles are layered and distributed through the center of the panel and are appliquéd in place with machine stitching. Hand beading is added to the appliquéd units. A black binding finishes the edge and the piece has a hanging sleeve.
