Please join the “Applaconners” Chapter of The Appliqué Society, which meets monthly on the third Thursday from 9-11am at the La Conner Quilt & Textile Museum, 703 Second St, La Conner, WA. Bring along a project to work on or for Show ‘n Tell. We will have an appliqué quilt from our permanent collection on display.
At right is an appliqué quilt from our permanent collection. Liberty in America, by Ruth Carol Coombe was the Washington State winner in The Great American Quilt Festival, sponsored by the Museum of American Folk Art in celebration of the Statue of Liberty Centennial.
